What is WorldPay and 3D Secure?

WorldPay is an additional safeguard to protect against credit card fraud both for our customers and ourselves.


What are Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode (3D Secure)?

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode (3D Secure) are the latest fraud prevention initiatives launched by Visa and MasterCard. Full details can be found from your card issuer.

3D Secure works in a similar way to Chip and Pin, by asking you to enter a unique password in order to complete your online order.


How does WorldPay work?

  1. Select the goods you wish to purchase from our website and enter your order and delivery details.

  2. Your credit card details are captured securely by WorldPay.

  3. You will be prompted to enter your Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code (3D Secure) password on your card issuer's page (optional).

  4. Our bank sends the credit card details to your card issuer who authorises or declines the transaction.

  5. Our bank then sends the transaction results back to WorldPay.

  6. WorldPay sends the authorisation results to us and to you to confirm the results of the transaction.


How does Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode work?

You will be given the option to register your cards and/or verify your transaction, when purchasing from us. Once you have entered your card details on WorldPay’s hosted payment page you will be prompted (on the confirmation page) to register your card for 3D Secure (if you have yet to do so) or proceed with the transaction and enter the pin number you have set up for online transactions.

If you would prefer to make payment over the phone, complete your order as normal through the website then call us on 01978 660011 during office hours to provide payment details.



Select the goods you wish to purchase by clicking the 'ADD' button next to each item.  Once you have selected everything you need, click 'your basket' at the top of the page. Follow the on-screen instructions up to the point where you are asked for credit card details.

On this screen there is a button labelled 'Give Credit Card Details Over Phone'. Checking this button will enter 'phone' into the card number box and allow you to complete the order without entering credit card details. Then simply call 01978 660011 and we will take your card details over the phone.

For your security all card payment details are SSL encrypted and stored on a secure server.

We aim to provide fast, efficient delivery for all of our items.  Depending on the product, we use Royal Mail, Interlink Express or UPS to deliver your item/s.


  • A signature is required for all deliveries, goods cannot be left unsigned.

  • In order to prevent fraud all first time orders paid for by Credit/Debit cards will only be delivered to the cardholders billing address.

  • We only post to UK addresses.

To ensure next day delivery to any UK Mainland address, orders must be received before 2.00pm to allow for picking & packing. The Next Day delivery option placed on Friday’s will be delivered Monday. The Next Day delivery option placed on Saturdays & Sundays will be delivered on Tuesday. (Next Day Delivery will be subject to stock availability)

Returns & Refunds


We aim to provide accurate descriptions of all goods so that you can make an informed decision before your purchase. We understand however, that occasionally you may want to return the item/s you have ordered.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you must advise us via email (info@terriertools.co.uk) or telephone (01978 660011) within 7 days of receipt of your order - please do not return any goods before contacting us.  Please quote your order number and date of purchase. We aim to reply to emails within 4 hours during opening hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) to advise you on the returns process and address.  

All returned items must be complete, in the original packaging and in an unused re-saleable condition.  A full refund of the order total will be made using the original payment method.  Please be advised that you will be responsible for the cost of the return postage. 


Faulty / Damaged Goods.

Should your order develop a fault, please contact us via email (info@terriertools.co.uk) as soon as possible.

If the fault is reported within 7 days of receipt, we will arrange to collect the item (or at our discretion, replace the item)

If an item is returned after 7 days, please be advised that you will be responsible for the cost of the return postage. 

Should an item become faulty after 30 days of purchase but within the manufacturer’s warranty period we will, at our discretion, repair, replace or refund the product.

To enable us to provide details of your order at a later stage, we do need to retain a certain amount of personal information, however under no circumstances will we share your information with third party companies for marketing purposes.
