The Makita GA7071X1 is a high-performance 180 mm (7") angle grinder designed for demanding trade use. It features a paddle-style dead-man switch, an integrated D-handle for better rear grip and control, and advanced safety technologies including Active Feedback Technology (AFT) and a mechanical brake. Available in both 110 V and 240 V models.
High-performance motor: 2,200 W (110 V) or 2,800 W (240 V)
Max speed: up to 8,500 rpm for fast, effective cutting and grinding
D-handle + paddle switch for enhanced grip and instant power shut-off
Mechanical brake stops the wheel in approx. 3 seconds after trigger release
AFT (Active Feedback Technology) shuts down the motor in case of wheel lock-up
Soft-start, constant-speed control, anti-restart, and torque limiter
Three-position anti-vibration rear handle reduces user fatigue
Tool-less guard adjustment, spiral bevel gears, and sealed motor protection
