The Portwest FR18 Flame Resistant Anti-Static Balaclava offers lightweight, close-fitting protection for the head, face, and neck in hazardous environments. Made from a Modaflame knit blend (60% modacrylic, 39% cotton, 1% carbon fibre – 200g), it provides inherent flame resistance and anti-static safety, while remaining breathable and comfortable for long periods of wear.
Certified to EN ISO 11612 (Heat & Flame) and EN 1149 (Anti-Static), the FR18 is suitable for welding, utilities, petrochemical, and general industry. Its single-opening design ensures secure coverage, while the soft, stretchable fabric makes it easy to wear under helmets and FR hoods.
