The Makita BO4556 is a compact, powerful ¼‑sheet palm sander designed specifically for detailed finish sanding in corners, profiles, and confined spaces. With its 2.0 A, 200 W motor and high speed of 14,000 OPM, it delivers smooth surface prep without swirl marks. Unlike clamp‑and‑hook variants, this model offers a built-in clamp system only, providing a secure grip on abrasive sheets while simplifying change‑over. At just 1.1 kg, it’s comfortable for extended use, and its compact aluminium base with rounded front edges enables flush edging. The BO4556 includes effective through‑the‑pad dust extraction and is available in both 110 V transformer‑safe (model BO4556/1) and 240 V mains (model BO4556/2) versions.
