The Makita BO5030 is a dependable and high-performance 5-inch random orbit sander built for fast, smooth surface finishing. Powered by a robust 300 W (3 A) motor, it delivers up to 12,000 orbits per minute using a 1/8″ (≈2.8 mm) orbit diameter, making it ideal for smoothing wood, filler, paint, and varnish surfaces. This lightweight (~1.3 kg), ergonomically designed tool features a rubberised palm grip, sealed switch to resist dust ingress, and an efficient through‑the-pad dust extraction system. Compatible with both 110 V transformer‑safe (BO5030/1) and 240 V mains (BO5030/2) environments, it’s also sold in a kit version (BO5030K) fitted with a case for mobile professionals.
