The Makita BO6050J is a rugged, high-performance 150 mm (6″) random orbit sander designed to excel in both precision finishing and aggressive material removal. Powered by a 750 W motor with a generous 5.5 mm orbit, it offers exceptional sanding speed and quality—capable of delivering up to 13,600 strokes per minute. Featuring a dual-mode switch (“random orbit” for fine finishing and “roto‑orbit” with forced rotation for coarse sanding), it adapts easily to varied applications. Ergonomically designed with a barrel grip and side handle, it weighs only approx. 2.6 kg and includes soft-start, pad brake, constant-speed control, and efficient dust extraction.
